What is the opportunity?

The Third-Party Risk & Compliance Advisor – Caribbean Banking is responsible for the effective management of Supplier Risk and Compliance for the Caribbean Banking portfolio of suppliers. The role will work with business partners and supplier managers to ensure completion of the Supplier Risk Management Application (SRMA), supplier risk and due diligence activities / documentation is completed as per requirements of Enterprise Third Party Policy and regulatory requirements.

What will you do?

  • Facilitate the completion of Supplier Risk Management Assessment (SRMA) and ensure supplier managers obtain all required artefacts from Suppliers
  • Act as subject matter expert and support the establishment of ongoing supplier management routines, continually monitor compliance including SLA reporting, contractual monitoring activities, quarterly business reviews, operational and risk compliance monitoring and planning
  • Ensure effective management of Supplier risk & due diligence by ensuring documentation is completed and updated as required and ensuring suppliers are compliant to Enterprise Third Party Policy.
  • Ensure all identified Supplier risks are documented with remediation plans in place and progress tracked and reported as required
  • Support external audit reviews and manage the collection, and maintenance of Supplier SOC 1 & SOC 2 reports where required
  • Support preparation of quarterly supplier attestations, quarterly risk register, risk appetite reporting and filing of outsourcing arrangements

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Bachelor's degree in business related field.
  • 3 - 6 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving, planning and organizing skills
  • Strong oral and written communication, and facilitation skills
  • High degree of flexibility and resourcefulness
  • Proven Problem Solving and Change Management skills
  • Proven ability to build solid relationships across all levels of the organization and with suppliers

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with RBC Enterprise Archer (SRMA) and iValua tools
  • Experience in supplier management or compliance
