General Purpose

A Teller Supervisor oversees Teller Operations, ensuring efficient service and compliance. Manages cash transactions, trains staff, and monitors stock levels. Reports to the Retail Manager at Sint Maarten branch.

Position Highlights

• Providing guidance, support, and transactional services to employees to cope with day-to-day work demands.
• Ensure that clients’ services provided by the Tellers are according to the Bank’s standards.
• Maintain custody and control of cash in all currency according to the procedures and guidelines of the Bank.
• Distribute vault cash to tellers, ensuring timely and adequate replenishment of teller cash.
• Verifying and balancing cash drawers and reconciling discrepancies.
• Check and authorize cash totals as calculated by Tellers at the end of the day.
• Supervise that employees comply with all internal controls and established policies and procedures.
• Custody of clients' debit cards and credit cards before pickup or delivery.
• Provide MOT reports within 24 hours to the Compliance Department.
• Balancing and replenishment of the ATM
• Lifting, registration, and processing of the night deposit bags.
• Custody and the reconciliation of debit and credit cards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s education with 2 - 5 years’ experience in Customer Service or equivalent.
• Cash handling experience.
• Knowledge of banking software.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• High level of accountability, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Professional appearance and courteous manner.
• Good verbal communication skills in English.
