Our operations are primarily located within southern Trinidad with non-operated assets off Trinidad’s north and east coasts.
Job Purpose
To utilise techniques during the project execution phase to ensure that projects are completed within the set timelines while ensuring business continuity without frequent interruptions to the stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities
- Provides support to the Facilities and Property Management Department, utilizing project management tools and methodologies consistent with non-recurring and capital expenditure projects.
- Designs and implements control techniques for each deliverable in the fiscal year project plan to continuously examine milestones, key dates and the critical path throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provides project management support in developing the breakdown structure for the project schedule.
- Analyses expenditure during the project life cycle in relation to all resources to support the team in the management of the fiscal year action plan and prepares report for review and puts forward recommendations for gap closure.
- Tracks potential risks related to the approved risk assessments to highlight any hazards that may create any unforeseen circumstance during the project life cycle.
- Prepares close out reports and post implementation review documents upon completion of each project.
- Undertakes any other assignments required from time to time, to fulfill the job purpose.
Job Specifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Management Studies or Engineering or Project Management.
- Project Management Certification (PMP).
Minimum Experience
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a project management role in facilities management and construction, with a minimum of three (3) years in the oil and gas industry.
- Project delivery experience, including managing the delivery of results on time and budget.
- Demonstrated organisation skills, strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation and teamworking skills.
