OBJECTIVE
To manage high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in the process of Warehouse Management.
FUNCTIONS
- Manages the ‘issues and receipts’ processes to meet the Company’s and/or NGC Group’s objectives and performance measures.
- Inspects materials, goods and equipment, delivered to NGC's warehouses both at the Field Complex and at other field locations throughout Trinidad and Tobago, against documents to verify and certify quality, quantity and accuracy of specification.
- Liaises with internal and external customers to resolve discrepancies with invoices/delivery notes/ reservations.
- Liaises with Inventory and Purchasing employees and other users for identification and resolution of variances.
- Liaises with the Accounting Departments to resolve discrepancies with delivery notes and invoices for receipt of goods to facilitate the payment process.
- Arranges for internal transportation and make other related arrangements for delivery from facilities to company locations where required.
- Issues monthly reports on outstanding invoices for services and liaises with Users and Accounting staff to ensure Service Entry Authorizations (SEAs) are done on time.
- Participates in physical inventory counts and provides all necessary documentation and support for reconciliation.
- Prepares status report on all warehouse activities as required.
- Participates where required in team activities to achieve the section’s objectives.
- Verifies receipts and issues with Issues and Receipts Register according to Warehouse Operating Procedures
- Investigates and resolves all abnormalities where items issued/received are not properly documented in daily Issues and Receipts Register
- Cooperates with representatives of the NGC Group and provides warehouse support when required.
- Monitors and manages the return of stock, nonstock and surplus materials process.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
The minimum requirements for the position are:
- A minimum of five (5) Ordinary Level subjects in General Certificate of Examinations (GCE) or Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) General Proficiency Level Passes, including Mathematics and English Language.
- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the field of Warehouse Operations.
- Certification in Supply Chain Management or in any related studies would be an asset.
