Job Purpose
To assist with thorough investigations and comprehensive reports related to all activities internally and externally, that contravene the company’s Regulations and Standing Orders for the purpose of ensuring the safety and security of the organization’s personnel and its assets.
Key Accountabilities
- Assists in implementing security programmes and plans including emergency response, incident response management and recovery plans.
- Assists in the assessment and evaluation of risks and threats and report same to the supervisor. Provides countermeasures recommendations to mitigate the risk.
- Investigates and reports all incidents of crime and criminal activities for all Heritage assets - maritime, offshore and land.
- Implements and monitors corrective actions to rectify security related issues.
- Ensures proper reporting protocols are adhered to and all incident/investigation reports are complete, accurate, and timely.
- Maintains record management systems to manage case files for accurate record-keeping and proper organization of security investigative information.
- Ensures compliance with Asset Management Systems and Procedures.
- Undertakes any other assignments required from time to time, to fulfil the job purpose.
Location
Santa Flora/Point Fortin/Penal/Guayaguayare and any other HPCL areas.
Job Specifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Five (5) Ordinary Level subjects and Diploma / Certificate in Security Management.
- Professional Certified Investigator certification (would be an asset).
- Firearm Users’ Employee Certificate (or previously held).
- Precept Holder (or previously held)
Experience
- A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the Security Industry / Investigations.
